By adding some teeth to the ordinance the city hopes to minimize the odds of spending money on the removal of wild turkeys, deer and any other nuisance wild animals that congregate because of feeding. People can enjoy the birds in small numbers but when they’re in huge, huge groups like they were last year they cause a lot of damage. The city spent $2000 on wild turkey removal and only managed to only trap a handful of birds. Fines for the intentional feeding of wild animals will start at $100 for the first violation, $200 for the second, and $300 for the third and subsequent violations....
