ARTS IN BRIEF
Canadian bluegrass group performs three N.S. shows
Canadian mandolin player John Reischman and his five-member group, the Jaybirds, are on their first tour of the Maritimes.

The bluegrass group has five critically acclaimed albums, two Juno nominations and two Canadian Folk Music Award nominations, as well as North American and European tours.
Reischman has also worked with Nova Scotia singer-songwriter Susan Crowe — he has played on all her albums — and the two have co-written songs together.
