Okay I dont kno about birds so I need help identifing what kind of bird this one is ...?

the pic of the bird is my pic if you kno what kind of bird it is please tell me. Ok so heres how we got the bird it was siting on a floaty in my pool like it couldnt fly away and then it hopped out of the pool ( the floaty was near the edge of the pool

Can't see much detail in the pic, but maybe a young mourning dove? I wish I could see the beak better. At first glance, the beak looked hooked, like a hawk. Probably just my old eyes, not focusing well!
