20 reasons to love spring

1. Grilling: While some might brave Michigan blizzards to get their grilled meats and vegetables, the easier approach is to wait until the snow melts and then fire up the backyard grill.
The choice between charcoal and propane grills is an old battle that still hasnt been decisively won. The advantage of a charcoal grill is the smoky flavor that permeates whatever is being grilled, and the grills tend to be comparatively cheap. Gas grills offer speed and ease of use, however.
Search punchfork.com for food grilling ideas; its a website that aggregates the best recipes from online sources.
2. W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary : Spring means baby animals, and is there anything cuter than a family of ducks with fluffy little ducklings? The sanctuary advises that hatching time for birds is around Mothers Day, but with the unusually warm weather it might be earlier.
