From there to here, from here to there, fun things in our class are everywhere. What a fun week Mrs. Gates’ kindergarten class has had with Dr. Seuss. On Monday, we wore silly socks for Dr. Seuss’ book “Fox in Socks.” On Tuesday, we read “Daisy-Head Mayzie” and “Ten Apples Up on Top.” The girls made their own Daisy-Head Mayzie hat and the boys made a hat with apples. They used one apple for each letter of their name. Wednesday was wacky ... We read “Wacky Wednesday” and we wore some wacky things. Some of us wore our hair wacky. Some wore their shirts inside out and backwards. And some wore two different shoes. Thursday we read “Green Eggs and Ham.” We had special green eggs and ham. We had white chocolate for the egg white, a green Skittle for the yolk and pretzel sticks for the ham. Friday we read “The Cat in the Hat.” We each made our own “Cat in the Hat” hat to wear.
