Comedian and TV presenter Alan Carr has won £87,500 for an animal rescue centre run by volunteers in Staffordshire.
Mr Carr won the money on Channel Four's Million Pound Drop programme for the British Wildlife Rescue Centre at Amerton Farm near Stafford.
Owner Alf Hardy said: "We're still numb, it's a dream really and I would like to thank him personally."
Mr Hardy said it costs up to £70,000 to operate the centre each year which is run by two staff and 20 volunteers.
In the quiz programme, pairs of contestants are given £1m to start with, but the money decreases as they bid to answer eight multiple choice questions successfully.
Celebrity contestants regularly appear on the live show, and Mr Carr, alongside TV personality Melanie Sykes, won £175,000 to share between their good causes.
Mr Hardy said he had been told the comedian wanted to raise money for a wildlife organisation.
