I found this a very well written piece until i got towards the end of the ante-penultimate paragraph - when she reaches "slayerhood" and what follows.

Nothing coming out of NBC can be believed. Doctoring the 911 tape to make it appear Zimmerman made racists statements demands an FCC investigation. It doesn't bode well for the remaining media elite who refuse to acknowledge the attempt to orchestrate a story and effect the outcome of an investigation not to mention attempting to enrage racial tensions. What do you think their reaction would have been had Fox News deliberately doctored tapes to effect this story?

Spike Lee was attempting to spark violence against Zimmerman and his family. His action is reckless at best and criminal in the least. The media's failure to denounce the "dead or alive" bounty issued by the Black Panthers is the same as agreeing with the threat.

The Ledger would thank Twitter for what, allowing it's network to be used as a vehicle to deliver terroristic threats and facilitating violence?

You'd think after their disgraceful reporting in the Duke Lacross lynching the press would be more prudent. They're driven by ideology and the truth be damned.
