Australian Native Birds. Has anyone noticed an increase in Their numbers in and around Sydney, N.S.W.?

I might be wrong but I am under the distinct impression that since the start of this year there have been far more wild native birds flying around the Inner West of The Sydney Metropolitain Area. I imagine that the draught and the recent bush fires are

I spend alot of time around the Sunshine Coast, Queensland and we have more birds around here too. We haven't got the fires like you do, but I think it has more to do with the weather patterns. The bird numbers aren't isolated to the built up areas either.

Offense powers Lady Birds past Southside

The Stuttgart Lady Ricebirds hosted Thursday softballl as the Southside Southerners came to town. This game was full of offense as Stuttgart out dueled the Southerners by a score of 13-5. With this victory Stuttgart continued its undefeated record in conference action.

Southside took the lead early in the game when the Southerners scored on an error by Stuttgart in the first inning.

This lead did not last long as Stuttgart put three runs on the board during the bottom half of the inning.

Anna Coker had a leadoff single for Stuttgart and was able to score after being advanced by Jaylen Maddox and Sydney Nash. Maddox scored next followed by Nash on a Johnna Seeman single. Stuttgart led 3-1 after one inning.

Neither team scored in the second inning but Southside cut the Stuttgart lead in half during the top of the third. Southside looked like it were going to pick up a few more runs as the Southerners were able to load the bases. With two outs, Ali White made a shoestring catch to stop the run and save the inning for Stuttgart. The Southerners defense held in the bottom of the inning and after three Stuttgart held a slim lead at 3-2.

After a few grueling weeks of having to produce the most work I’ve done in months (which equates to one paper…pathetic) I started on a journey that ended up being some of the best ten days of my life....

There are no gardens here, but I don't mind, not really. I used to pick flowers all the time, but the idea disturbs me now. They're dead as soon as you snap the stem. There are no birds here either, or if there are, they never sing.
