Great Gray Owl (Strix nebulosa)

An interesting species, recorded yearly, but probably
does not breed annually. Breeds in old twig nests and
"chimney" stubs. In good years there can be more breeders.
Some winters (Feb-April) many GGOs seen on the fields
hunting voles.
