Sandpiper (Limicola falcinellus) Breeds on almost all wet marshes. Easy to observe when displaying, but can be difficult to find later in the summer when they hide in the boggy marsh. Seen in spring on passage on mudflats (site 3) together with stints. The first arrive around May 26th. The earlieast record is from May 10th. |
